INGREDIENTS
2 kg chicken (washed and drained)2 large onions (fried and kept aside)4 potatoes (fried and kept aside)2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons butter3 tablespoons chilli powder ½ teaspoon turmeric powder1 ½ tablespoons roasted dhania (coriander)/jeerah powder 1 tablespoons Kashmiri masala1 teaspoon crushed red chillies2 tablespoons ginger garlic 3 sticks cinnamon 1 tablespoon whole jeerahSalt1 cup sourmilk (iv added liquidized dhania (coriander) and green chillies)3 tablespoons tomato puree2 tablespoons tomato paste½ teaspoon egg yellow
METHOD
Keep chicken marinated in all ingredients..except oil, butter and potatoes.Warm oil and butter in a pot.Add chicken mixture.Cook for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.Add potatoes with 1 ½ cups water.Cook a further 10 minutes.Steam in oven till done.
