INGREDIENTS
4 Cans of Tuna (pref in oil)
1 green Pepper cubed
Chopped Green Chilles
1 clove garlic finely chopped
Curry Leaves
½ cup whole kernel corn
1 punnet mushrooms
1 ½ onions finely sliced
salt and pepper to taste
2 packets smash original
2 packets knorr cheese sauce
250ml Fresh Cream (optional)
500 shells pasta / elbow pasta / screws
METHOD
Boil pasta with a drop of oil and set aside
Braize onions, chillies and curry leaves in oil until
onions are soft.
Add garlic and cook for a little while
then add: ½ punnet sliced mushrooms, green
pepper and corn and allow to braize
once mushrooms are cooked, add drained tuna
season with salt and pepper to taste
Mix knorr cheese sauce as per instructions on
packet, and add to tuna.(can add the cream if
using)
Mix smash as per instructions on packet and
season with a little salt as well.
Add pasta to tuna and mix well - tuna must coat
all the pasta
lay tuna/pasta mix in pyrex and top with smash
grate cheese over and slice the other ½ punnet
mushrooms on top of cheese
sprinkle some potato spice and garlic and herb
spice over cheese and bake until cheese melts
(should brown a little)
INFO & TIPS
Take care not to cook garlic for too long as it will
go biter
