METHOD
Add potatoes to a flat pot with all spices, toss to coatAdd about 1/8c water, close lid and allow to steam until almost done, the add in Tamarind paste, I used about 1/4 teaspoon Add in oil and allow potatoes to fry and become crisp
Pour tempered spices and oil over potatoes, toss well and serve
INFO & TIPS
Serve as a side with khurri kitchri or dhal and rice
