INGREDIENTS
1 kg Leg mutton2 onions Whole spices: 2 Elachi (cardomom), few whole black peppercorns, 2 Bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick1 or 2 green/red chilli 1 teaspoon whole jeeru (cumin) 1 ½ teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground pepper1 teaspoon ground green masala (ground green chillies and garlic)2 tablespoons Mayyonaise 500g packet frozen mixed vegetables2 Potatoes1 cup yoghurt
METHOD
Slice onions. Add some oil to a pot. Braise onions with whole spices, whole jeeru (cumin) and 1 or 2 whole chillies till slightly brown.
Add meat, salt, pepper, ground green chillies and Mayyonaise. Cook on medium heat. After about 30 minutes add potatoes cut into wedges. Once meat almost cooked add full packet of mixed vegetables and lastly add 1 cup yoghurt. Cook till meat done and gravy thickens.
Serve hot with roti.
