RECIPE
1kg chicken fillet cubed1 teaspoon course red chillies1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon garam masala (optional)1 heaped teaspoon turmericFreshly ground black pepper1 tablespoon lemon juice2 tablespoon double cream plain yoghurt
Make a paste with spices, lemon juice and yoghurt, add chicken and allow to marinate for a couple of hours
50g butter2 tablespoon oilWhole jeera seeds1 cinnamon stick2 cardamom pods
Heat together above in a pot until spices are fragrant Add chicken and saute gently until chicken is cooked
Sauce1 Cup fresh cream1 Cup double cream plain yoghurt1 tablespoon tomato puree1 tablespoon good quality tomato sauce 1 teaspoon flour
Combine sauce ingredients together and whisk wellPour over chicken and allow to simmer in the creamy sauce until thickened
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with sambals and basmati rice or naan bread
