INGREDIENTS
1 roll pastry 1 egg ¼ pc red pepper Olives Grated cheese ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ teaspoon mixed herbs ½ teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)¼ teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) (whole) ½ teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon crushed garlic 4 tablespoon olive oil
Garnish: dhania (coriander)
METHOD
Marinate the peppers1. Slice the peppers into thin long strips 2. Add olive oil along with 1 teaspoon mixed herbs and ¼ teaspoon salt.3. Microwave until the peppers are semi soft.
Spice paste1. Add the balance of your spices into a bowl- crush or grind them then add crushed garlic and a little bit of oil to form a paste
Pastry 1. Cut the pastry into rectangles or squares.2. Brush with egg for golden Color
Method: 1. Once the pastry is brushed with egg , add the spice paste onto each pastry, more in the centre so that the sides have space to rise
2. Add some grated cheese and sliced olives on each and bake for about 7-10 minutes
3. Once the pastry rises add your marinated peppers on each and bake until golden and pastry is done.
4. Garnish and enjoy :)
