INGREDIENTS
1 dozen Portuguese rolls (ready made)
Filling:500g chicken fillet1 teaspoon chilli garlic paste1 teaspoon red chillies1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper1 teaspoon salt2 tablespoon lemon juice3 tablespoon peri peri oil
Sauces for prego:Mustard saucePeri peri sauceMayonnaiseLettuce leaves
steak fillet may be used instead of chicken fillet
METHOD
Butterfly fillets. Marinate chicken in all ingredients for filling for 2 to 3 hoursCook in a pan until done
Spread mustard sauce on both sides of rolls, top with a piece of chicken/steakAdd a little of the mayonnaise and peri peri sauce close and bake atv180 for 8 to 10mins, add a lettuce leaf to each after baking
