INGREDIENTS
1 cup sour cream¾ cup sugar 2 large or 3 medium eggs½ cup sunflower oil Pinch salt 1 ½ cup sifted Cake flour 2 teaspoons baking powder Sprinkle grated fresh lemon zest2 teaspoons lemon essence
Dessolve sugar before adding the followup ingredient in the method
METHOD
Whisk eggs and sugar, sugar must be dessolved before adding sour cream. Add oil, lemon zest and essence mix well.
Add the dry sifted ingredients to the wet mixture. Once combined give it a good mix. Line loaf pan, pour mixture in.
Bake in preheated oven 170 degrees reduced to 160 degree and bake for 50-55 minutes. Test with skewer should come out clean. Once cool, option to use glaze icing Lemon glaze 1 cup icing sugarFreshly squeeze lemon juice Drop of lemon essenceIf mixture is too thick add in 2 tablespoons boiled and cooled water... Set it on a serving plate, drizzle the warm lemon glaze over the loaf. Fresh decor of lemon rinds makes it look attractive. Bon appetite ❤️Shu-Hani❤️
