INGREDIENTS
2 c self raising flour1 c Maas or plain yoghurt2 TB butter
For the stuffing:
Garlic cloves ( roast in the microwave or oven until soft)Grated mozzarella or cheddar cheeseChopped dhania (coriander) or dried Italian herbs of your choiceSalt and pepper to taste
METHOD
Combine all ingredients together until you have a soft dough.
Roll into balls,then stuff with roasted garlic,cheese and herbs of your choice.
Season with salt and pepper if desired
Place bread balls onto a greased baking tray and brush with butter and herbs. Bake in a hot oven or airfryer until cooked through.
Serve hot,enjoy!
INFO & TIPS
I roasted the garlic in the microwave,you need to pierce the garlic cloves several times to ensure that it does not explode in the microwave. It also can burn easily,so keep an eye on it if using the microwave.
This is ideal to serve for braais or with roasts.
Spread butter on top of rolls once baked.
