RECIPE
4 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon sugar 1 packet instant yeast +- 1 teaspoon somph / fennel seeds (optional)2 tablespoon milk powder (it makes dough soft)Mix together all the dry ingredients FOR LIQUID: 1⁄2 cup milk warm1 cup warm waterNow add 1⁄2 cup oil to milk and water mixture Mixture should be Luke warmAdd gradually to dry ingredients to make a soft dough( You can add warm water if required)Allow dough to rise in warm placeFor +- 10-15 minutuesRoll out dough and cut with doughnut cutter and leave it on greased tray to rise till double in size then brush with egg & sprinke poppy Seeds. Bake at 180" for 12-15 minutues till light gold.Cool slit it in half so you have 2 rings..put in your filling of choice . it can be frozen.
