INGREDIENTS
1½ cups white flour½ cup brown flour1 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon sugar2 teaspoon instant yeast1 tablespoon @olivepride olive oil blendWarm waterBlack & white sesame seeds to top on bagels
METHOD
Stir together flours, yeast, sugar and salt.Add in 1 tablespoon oil and enough warm water to bind into a soft dough.Dough is ready to proof when its elastic and does not stick to your hands. Add flour a little at a time as needed.
Place in a well-oiled bowl, cling wrap and allow to rise in a closed oven for 45min to an hour. Punch down, roll out (approx 1cm thickness) and cut with a doughnut cutter.Egg wash and sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds. Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes until nicely browned.
Slit and fill with filling of your choice. I used leftover chicken to which I added shredded lettuce and mayonnaise. Perfect for lunch boxes or a light snack
