INGREDIENTS
2 ½ cups cake flour½ teaspoon salt1 teaspoon sugar1 packet yeast (10g)
2 tablespoon oil1 egg(Mix together)
2 tablespoon butter ( melt for a few seconds in microwave ½ cup boiling ½ milk( whisk together)
Topping Milk to brush Sesame seeds
METHOD
1. Sift the flour in a bowl and add the salt and yeast ,mix well to combine. 2. Make a well in the center and add tthe egg mixture and milk mixture. 3. Mix to form a dough.4. Add more flour if needed and knead dough well on your counter top until smooth for about 15 minutes. 5. Grease the dish with oil and place the dough, cover with cling wrap and allow to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.6. Knock dough down and divide in two.7. Use half to make simit and other half to make bagels8. Divide the one half into 12 pieces, roll each one into a long strip about 35 cm9. Fold in half and twist ,press the ends to form a circle. 10. Place on a lined baking tray and brush with milk and sesame seeds .11. Allow to stand for about 15 minutes.12. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 for 20 minute. Grill for a few minutes if top need to be more golden.13. Serve with double cream yogurt and fresh salad
