INGREDIENTS
Khakh (EID Biscuit)
Ingredients.
250g butter/ghee (Clarified butter)
Pinch salt
1Tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seed
Khakh flavoring if
available
1 teaspoon Dried yeast.
Mix with. ¼ cup
warm water.
Flour as required to
make biscuit dough
Filling of choice
Turkish delight/
dates
Icing Sugar To dust
on Bisc once baked.
Mix the ingredients

little by little 2
make soft dough. Form
into round balls
adding a sml pc of
filling of choice and
press into kahkh
mould , bake in
moderate oven @ 180 /
350F until done once
cool sprinkle icing
sugar
Variation: for
different variety add
instead of sesame
seeds add , 1 tablespoon
Black seeds (habe
barakah / kulunji)
