INGREDIENTS
500g Rump/fillet steakSalt and black pepper to taste1 tablespoon Woestershire sauceΒΌ-Β½ cup Spur basting sauce or Jimmy steak house sauce
Mushroom sauce:1 punnet white button mushroom slicedSalt and pepper to taste2 heaped tablespoon cream cheese
Salad :Lettuce leaves, tomato slices and red onion slices
Extras : Cheddar cheese slice Seeded buns
METHOD
-Marinate steak few hours-Fry in hot pan with butter or grill over gas braai (bbq)-Cook mushrooms season to taste -When water burns out not completely dry, keep little water add the cream cheese and allow to simmer on low heat-lightly toast buns-on one half place the salad ingredients, on the bottom half place a piece of steak, Cheddar cheese slice lastly top with mushroom sauce
