INGREDIENTS
Pudding:2 cups flourHeaped ½ teaspoon bicarbonte of soda2 teaspoons baking powder¼ cup cocoa 1 and ½ cups sugar
2 eggs1 cup milk¾ cup water2 tablespoons vinegar3 tablespoons apricot jam80 g butter, melted
Sauce:150 g butter1 cup milk Heaped ½ cup sugar 2 tablespoon golden syrup
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180°c. Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix together all wet ingredients in a seperate bowl. Now combine together well and pour into a greased tray/oven dish. Bake for about 40 minutes or until done. Bring sauce ingredients to a boil. Boil until thickened slightly then pour over pudding as soon as it comes out of oven.Serve hot with ice cream or whipped cream and golden syrup, hot fudge sauce or chocolate ganache.
