INGREDIENTS
• Strawberries• Blueberries• Raspberries• Kiwi Fruit • Naartjies• Pineapple• Green and Red Grapes• 1 Red / 1 Green Apple ( add last when adding sugar/mint )
METHOD
- Cut all your fruit up ; not too small
- Like for the Grapes & Strawberries you can cut them into halvesOther Berries leave whole
- Then an hour or so before serving add in few tablespoon sugar and finely chopped mint and toss altogether in a large bowl- The sugar dissolves with the fruit and releases it's own syrup- Decant into individual dessert cups or in a large dessert bowl
*Optional - You can add cubed watermelon / sweet melon as well.
INFO & TIPS
- Don't add the sugar too early otherwise the fruit becomes too mushy.
- You can use any seasonal fruit but I prefer to omit soft fruit like papino/banana - it overpowers the taste of the other fruit .
