INGREDIENTS
• 6-8 Hake fillets or filleted fish of your choice• 1 big tablespoon Red chilli & garlic paste• 1 big tablespoon crushed garlic• 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder• ½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)• 2 teaspoon Dhana Jeeru (Cumin)• Salt to taste• ½ teaspoon black pepper• ½ teaspoon mustard powder• 1 Satchet tomato paste • tablespoon of Peri Peri oil or veg oil• Egg yellow colouring (1 capful)• 2 tablespoon lemon juiceYou can also add in 1 grated tomato if you like.
METHOD
- Coat each piece of fish well in your marinade- Reserve some marinade ( about 2 tablespoon )- Either shallow fry for 2-3min each side until your fish is flaky or bake in oven 180°c for +- 20-25min- Add curry leaves & little ghee (Clarified butter) to your extra marinade & braise in a frying pan & pour over your cooked fish pieces.... Add sprigs of dhania (coriander) & serve with lemon wedges.
☆ Can be served on its own with chips or as a side to Rice dishes ( Khurri Kitchri , Dholl and Rice )
