INGREDIENTS
½c oil ¼ teaspoon. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon.salt 650g chicken 4 teaspoon. Peprika chilli powder 2 teaspoon. Chilli powder 1 teaspoon. Lemon juice
METHOD
First, put a pan on medium heat and add some oil. Once the oil starts to heat up, throw in some turmeric powder and salt and mix it up real good. Then, add the chicken and cook it until it changes color. Mix it well and cook until it's slightly golden.
Now, turn the heat down to medium-low and close the pan. Every 2 minutes or so, give it a good mix. If the chicken starts to stick to the pan, add a quarter cup of water, cover it, and cook until the water evaporates.
Once the chicken is golden on all sides, add the peri peri and mix it well until all the chicken is evenly coated. This is the key to the curry, so make sure you do it right.
Next, add the spicy chili powder and mix again. Finally, add the lemon juice and mix and cook until the raw smell of the chili is gone.
Take it off the heat and serve it with rice or roti. Trust me, it's gonna be delicious!
