INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar1 cup water+ extra 3 ½- 4 cups water1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juiceA small handful of mint
METHOD
.1 Boil sugar and 1 cup water together for ±5 minutes. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Liquidize mint with 1 cup water. Pour lemon juice, sugar syrup, liquidized mint and remainder water in a jug. Mix well. Chill and serve cold. Add crushed ice 🧊 if you desire.
INFO & TIPS
If you blend ice cubes until crushed fine and powdery and add it to the lemonade just before serving, it will give it a wonderful slushy texture. Great for hot days.
In real life, it's a lighter green than the picture. Excuse my lighting.
