4 cup cake flour 10g yeast ½ cup sugarPinch salt 1 cup boiling water 1 lg eggs 1 tablespoon. Butter 1 teaspoon. Vanilla Milk as you need Oil for frying
SYRUP2 cup water 1½ cup sugar
Desiccated coconut Whipped cream Strawberry & Apricot Jam
METHOD
🍩dissolve sugar, salt & butter in 1 cup of boiling water, mix & cool slightly. Add beaten egg, salt & Vanilla. Add milk to make ½ liter or 500ml liquid.🍩 combine flour & yeast in a large bowl. Add milk mixture & mix into a soft dough. The dough will be very soft, don't be tempted to add more flour. 🍩set a side, & covered until the dough double in size it should taken around 1 ½ hours.🍩divide the dough into approximately 30 small balls.🍩heat the oil in a large saucepan. Once the oil is hot gently pull each doughnut into and ablong shape & fry each side until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
🍩 SYRUP: Boil together, water & sugar until sugar dissolved & the syrup is slightly sticky, & thick.🍩dip the doughnut in the syrup & coat in the desiccated coconut.🍩make a slit length wise in doughnut, fill with whipped cream & drizzle jam on top.
