This barley bread is a nourishing twist on everyday flatbreads — made with a mix of flour, semolina, and talbina (barley flour) for added goodness.
The Prophet ﷺ often ate barley bread — known to be gentle on the stomach and full of healing.
Crusty outside, soft inside... perfect with a drizzle of olive oil , dates, honey or a bowl of soup 🥣🍲

Mix together1 cup flour½ cup barley flour/ talbina½ cup semolina½ tablespoon yeast 1 tablespoon olive oil1 teaspoon sugar1 teaspoon salt
Form dough with lukewarm water.Cover and leave to rise.
Divide dough into 6 balls Dip in water and coat with crushed barley.
Place on a baking tray and flatten slightly.Cover and leave to rise. Make a slit in the middle with a knife.Bake 180deg until done.
