INGREDIENTS
marinade
1 chicken cut in quarters
1 ½ teaspoon red chillie powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dhana/jeeru (cumin)
½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)
2 teaspoon red masala
vagaar
1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
2 tablespoon oil
3 whole dry red chillie
½ teaspoon whole jeeru (cumin)
4 cloves garlic sliced thinly
1 cinnamon
sauce
¼ cup tomatoe puree]
¼ cup water ] liquidize
1 tomatoe ]
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon oil
½ teaspoon red masala
½ teaspoon red chillies
½ teaspoon salt
pinch arad (Turmeric)
METHOD
marinate chicken in spices and vagaar
lay chicken in a pot on meduim-low heat cook for
half hour without turing or adding water
braise sauce until oil comes ontop
once chicken is cooked lay in an ovenproof dish or
another pot ( do not leave in the same pot)
put sauce in pot that the chicken was in and cook for
a minutes with ¾ cup water
pour sauce over chicken
cover pot with foil
cook at 180 for 45min in oven

INFO & TIPS
when cooking chicken in pot its very important not
to turn the chicken and do not add water
and when putting chicken in the oven do not leave in
the same pot as you cooked the chicken you have to
change the pot.
