INGREDIENTS
250g butter
1 ½ cup sugar
6 eggs
3 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups cake flour
pink, green and yellow food colouring.
1 ½ cup milk
Sauce ingredients:
½ cup milk
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cocoa
1 tablespoon cornflour
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 C.
Cream butter and sugar, add in eggs and beat well
after each addition, mix in the dry ingredients and the
milk until well blended.Divide mixture into 3 bowls,
colour as desired, pour into 3 greased-20 cm square
pans. bake at 180C for 20 minutes
To make sauce:
Heat the sauce ingredients and boil until it thickens,
join cakes together with the sauce.
Sift icing sugar on top.
