INGREDIENTS
125g butter, softened
½ cup sugar
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon instant coffee
1 tablespoon hot water
about 2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
Filling:
2 teaspoon instant coffee.
2 teaspoon hot water
3 tablespoon butter
about 1 cup icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
METHOD
Beat butter with the sugar and egg. Dissolve coffee in hot water, and add with sifted flour and bakin pwdr and dough. Roll the dough into 40cm long roll. Cut this into 2x20cm rolls, wrap each in plastic and chill in the freezer until firm enough to cut 40 slices in each roll. Bake
Filling: dissolve coffee in water, add all ingr and mix icing.
