INGREDIENTS
7 cups flour
*4 teaspoon dry yeast
3 tablespoon oil
1 ½ teaspoon salt
*1 tablespoon sugar
*1 cup water
6 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
2 eggs
1 tablespoon Soumph (Fennel)
1 cup warm milk
½ Luke warm water
METHOD
Mix ingredients marked with * together. Keep in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
Sift the flour and salt together. Add the Soumph (Fennel).
Cream the oil, ghee (Clarified butter) and sugar together. Beat eggs and add to the mixture.
Now add the yeast, milk and water.
Make a dough and leave to rise till doubled.
Divide the dough into 6 after kneading again.
Make each one into 18cm discs.
Place on oven trays and leave to double again!
Brush with beaten egg yolk. Sprinkle kus kus over and bake at 180
