1 cup sugar
1 litre milk
½ cup coconut
Elachi (cardomom) powder
About ½ loaf bread
Soak the bread in the milk till nice & soft, then add rest of ingredients & beat well.
Take a medium sized pot, about 1 size bigger than your normal cake pan & caramelise about ½ cup sugar, remember to coat the pot well with the caramelised sugar.
Preheat oven to 180•c whilst caramelising sugar.
Pour mixture into pot, then fill an oven tray just less than half with water & place the pot with mixture in there.
Place in oven & bake for about 30 to 40 minutes till done.
When its done it won't be watery & u can test like a cake, if the knife comes out clean then its done.
Cool for about 2 hrs before turning onto a serving plate, then cool further & decorate with nestle cream & flake.
I did not use a pot.
I caramelised sugar & coated the bottom of a ring pan & baked it as such..
