Base: 250g butter ½ cup sugar 3 cups flour cream butter and sugar well, add flour and make a firm dough, grease pan and press dough evenly and bake at 180 for about 10 minutes
Topping : 1 tin condensed milk 1 cup sugar 250g butter 2 tablespoon golden syrup mix all ingredients in a saucepan, place on low heat on stove till sugar melts, then increase heat and keep mixing, boil for 5 minutes. Remove from stove and allow mixture to cool. Pour cooled mixture over base and sprinkle pecans Flatten into mixture for a neat finish
Chocolate: 500g Milk chocolate melted spread chocolate evenly over cooled caramel mixture
Chill, cut and serve
