INGREDIENTS
12 chicken wings (cleaned and deveined)
½ cup flour
1 teaspoon mochachos hot chicken spice (or any other chicken spice)
Salt to taste
oil for frying
Sauce ingredients:
1 heaped tablespoon butter
2-3 tablespoon crystal hot sauce or any chilli sauce
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon chilli powder
½ teaspoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
salt to taste
METHOD
Mix flour, chicken spice and salt in a large bowl till well combined. Coat all chicken pieces in flour mixture. Deep fry in medium hot oil for 10-15 minutes and drain on paper towel. Place all fried wings in serving bowl or pyrex.
Bring ingredients of sauce to a boil on low heat stirring occasionally. Pour hot sauce over wings before serving.
