INGREDIENTS
STEP 1:Batter:2 cups flour½ cup garlic butter (softened)3 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon salt½ teaspoon pepper2 eggs1 cup buttermilkCombine dry ingredients with butter until it resembles breadcrumbs..beat in eggs and buttermilk to form a batter
STEP 2:Tangy onion sambal:¾ cup diced onion2 tablespoon diced red and green pepper¼ cup chopped spring onion½ cup mayonaiseMix well
STEP 3:any basic saucy or wet steak filling of choice
METHOD
Grease muffin pans...spoon 1 heaped spoon of batter into pan,layer with steak filling,top with a teaspoon of sambal,cover with a heaped spoon of batter...glaze with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsleyBake in a preheated oven on 180 until golden
