INGREDIENTS
4 eggs (separated)
¾ cup sugar
1 cup oil
¼ cup cocoa
¼ cup boiling water
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup cake flour
ganache:
250 ml fresh cream.
2 x 80g dark chocolate.
METHOD
Pre heat over to 180 cO.
Beat egg white till stiff, keep aside. Beat yolks and sugar for 10 minutes till creamy. Add oil and beat for 5 minutes.mix water and cocoa together till smooth paste.add to egg mixture, sift flour and baking powder add to batter. Beat for 5 minutes.fold in egg whites..grease cake pan, pour batter in. Bake for 30-45 minutes depending on your oven.
Sllow to cool.
Ganache:Heat fresh cream in a pan on high, add chocolate and whip... Allow chocolate to melt. Lower heat and than simmer for 3 minutes. Put heat off once Ganache thickens. Allow to get cold and than decorate cake.Better results, let Ganache set in the fridge overnight, whip it and use the next day
