RECIPE
Macaroons.
75g ground almonds, 115g icing sugar, 2 large egg white, 50g castor sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, colouring. Method: Place the ground almonds and icing sugar I food processor and process for 15seconds. Sift in2 bowl. Place egg whites in large bowl and whisk until soft peaks. Gradually whisk in castor sugar to make a firm glossy meringue. Whisk in the vanilla and colouring. Using spatula, fold almond mixture into the meringue. Then pour in piping bag. Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Bake for 10-15mins, cool for 10mins then peel off
