1 cup marg ( boiled with water in a cooker or pot until completely soft ) Oil 1 onion finely chopped 1 teaspoon garlic ½ teaspoon ginger Green chilli to taste Handful curry leaves 2 tomatoes grated 1 teaspoon jeera powder 1 ½ teaspoon dhana powder ¼ teaspoon haldi Chili powder to taste 1 teaspoon achaar masala Salt to taste 3 tablespoon lemon juice 1 dishing out spoon plain yogurt or sour milk .
Take a whisk and mix the already cooked marg . In a pot add the oil , onions and curry leaves , let this braise until onions start to change color , add ginger garlic and green masala allow to braise until you can smell it, now add the grated tomatoes followered by all the dry spices excluding the achaar masala let this cook until the water runs out ( let this braise on low heat ) . Add the achaar masala and lemon juice and braise for about a minute, add the cooked and whisked marg to the pot add water if necessary. add the yogurt or sour milk and allow to cook on low until the flavor has sunk in completely .
