3meduim to small potatoes Water to boil potatoes Salt to taste Butter 1 punnet mushrooms cleaned and sliced 250ml fresh cream / milk and white sauce 1 teaspoon Portuguese spice ( or any 1 spice of your choice )
boil the potatoes whole with the skin in water and salt ( or put in pressure cooker about 3 whistle ). In a saucepan or pot add alittle butter in the pot add the sliced mushrooms and on medium heat let this cook , add water if necessary add the spice and cook for 5 minutes . Once the water dries up add the fresh cream and shimmer until thick .
To serve : Smash open potatoes , add alittle salt and butter . Pour the prepared sauce over , serve immediately.

You can add grated cheese and bake until cheese melts in the oven .
