1 kg prawns , cleaned and devAined 5 to 6 garlic cloves ( chopped very fine ) 1 teaspoon grinded green chili 1 teaspoon red chilli paste 1 teaspoon Portuguese spice ½ teaspoon Lemon pepper 1 teaspoon crushed dry red chilli 1 ½ teaspoon crushed dhana ½ teaspoon jeera powder Oil ½ squeezed fresh lemon juice / full lemon Handful finely chopped dhania (coriander) Salt to taste Blobs of garlic butter
Lemon butter sauce 100g butter 1 freshly squeezed lemon ¼ cup milk 1/; cup fresh cream Salt to taste
Chilli sauce : 1 tablespoon crushed dry red chillies 1 tablespoon vinegar 4 tablespoon lemon juice Salt to taste 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
Preheat oven to 180degrees
In a oven tray or Pyrex place a piece of foil to cover the whole bottom
In a small bowl add all the marinate ingredients and make a paste . Smear some of this on the foil dish . Open up each prawn and add the marinade in each prawn and throw remaining marinade over . Cover the dish with another piece of foil and bake for atleast 15 minutes , remove foil and bake until water has run out .
In the meantime prepare the lemon butter : Add all the ingredients to a pot and simmer on low . Set aside .
Chilli sauce : in a bowl add all the ingredients and mix well .
Serve prawns with the sauces on the side . In this way whatever flavor is desired can be used .
INFO & TIPS
This can also be grilled on a griller by simply steaming the prawns for 10minutes in a pan on low , removing it and placing it on a griller about 5 minutes each sides
