INGREDIENTS
125g butter / stork marg
¾ cups castor sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla ess
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoon corn flour
2 ½ cups flour ( add more flour if required )
Custard
1 ½ liters full cream milk
1 cup sugar ( add more if you want it sweeter )
10 to 12 tablespoon custard powder
Red and green color ( optional )
METHOD
preheat oven to 180degrees
Beat together the butter and sugar , gradually add eggs , add vanilla essence and baking powder . Add the corn flour and flour little at the time . Make a soft dough . Make 5 balls
Roll the balls out , do not make as thin as roti should be thick . Place on a floured baking tray and bake for approx 7 to 10 minutes ,remove from oven and remove the baked biscuit immediately while hot from the tray and place in a pyrexs or Tupperware that you going to use to serve . make sure not to break it .
In the meantime add the milk and sugar in a pot bring to boil . Remove from heat , in a small bowl add the custard powder and little boiled milk and mix forming no lumps now add this to the milk in pot and stir until custard is thick .
Divide custard and color ( optional )
Assemble :
1 baked biscuit at the bottom first.pour custard over smear evenly . And repeat this process until all 5 are done . Top with some biscuit crumbs or decorate as you wish .
