INGREDIENTS
½ kg chicken fillet cut into strips
Marinate in:
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
½ teaspoon garlic pepper
2-3 teaspoon cajun spice
1 teaspoon peri peri spice
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
Mushroom sauce:
I punnet of sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
250 ml fresh cream
2 teaspoon corn flour
½ cup milk
Salt, pepper and cajun spice to season
2 cups boiled pasta
Grated Cheese
METHOD
Cook or stir fry marinated strips in oil/butter.
In a separate pot add garlic to butter. Add mushrooms and stir fry.
Once mushrooms are cooked add fresh cream.
Mix cornflour in the milk. Add to mushrooms. Simmer till slightly thickened. Season to taste.
In casserole dish layer the strips, pasta then pour mushroom sauce over.
Top with grated cheese.
Before serving heat in oven @ 180°c.
Serve topped with crushed fried par.
