INGREDIENTS
2 Chickens – disjointed
5-6 tomatoes – grated
2 onions – fried till golden brown
2 green chillies
5 whole cloves
10 whole peppers
3 whole Elachi (cardomom)
2 tuj (cinnamon stick) sticks
3 teaspoon red chillies
1 tablespoon dhana powder
½ teaspoon crushed jeera
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
3 teaspoon ginger garlic
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 block dhunia chutney
Saffron or 1 teaspoon egg yellow colouring
¼ cup oil
2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
METHOD
1. Combine all ingredients together and mix well.
2. Add above to chicken and coat well. Marinate for a few hours
3. Bake chicken in a closed casserole for about 1 hour and then remove cover and bake for about 15 minutes or longer, but don’t dry.
