INGREDIENTS
Cake:
250g butter
250g castor sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 cups flour
3 ½ teaspoon baking powder
Milk
Icing:
125g butter
350-400g icing sugar
4tblsp cocoa
Milk
METHOD
Cake:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
2. Melt butter until soft & add castor sugar. Mix until light & fluffy.
3. Add eggs & vanilla.
4. Fold in cocoa & mix well.
5. Add flour & baking powder one cup & teaspoon at a time, with milk until batter is off correct consistancy. (Must fall of spoon)
6. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Icing:
1. Melt butter & add icing sugar. Beat/mix until fluffy.
2. Add cocoa powder & fold in. Mix until encorporated.
3. Add milk for a softer icing.
4. Ice & decorate accordingly
