INGREDIENTS
3 layer Rainbow Cake
250g butter
1 ½ cup sugar
6 eggs
3 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups cake flour
pink, green and yellow food colour. 1 ½ cup milk
METHOD
Method: preheat oven to 180 C cream butter and sugar, add in eggs and beat well after each addition, mix in the dry ingredients and the milk until well blended. Diovid mixture into 3 bowls, colour as desired, pour into 3 greased 20 cm square pans, bake at 180 C for 20 minutes
INFO & TIPS
I used fresh cream, but book has sauce
Sauce ingredients: 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp cocoa, 1 tbsp cornflour.
To make sauce: heat the sauce pan and boil untiol it thickens , join cakes together with the sauce sift icing sugar on top enjoy ;)
