really thin slices of potatoes Batter : ½ cup Chana flour Salt to taste 2 tablespoon flour ½ teaspoon ground green chillies ½ teaspoon ginger garlic 1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) ½ teaspoon red chilli powder Warm water to make a sticky batter.
Oil for deep frying
Chutney : In a small bowl add : 2 tablespoon Chana flour Little warm water This will help for lumps not to form . Add ½ teaspoon ginger garlic ½ teaspoon ground green chillies Pinch haldi ½ teaspoon jeera powder ½ cup sour mix . 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Oil Kari leaves Rye (black seed)
Add all the batter ingredients to make a nice sticky batter , not too runny .
Take each slice , one at the time dip in batter and add to hot oil and fry u til crispy .
Serve with chutney . I made Kari chutney this goes best with this type of bhajia .
Chutney : Fork and mix the Chana flour with water until there's no lumps , add the remaining ingredients and whisk well .
In a pot add the slightest amount of oil , Kari leaves and Rye (black seed) . Wait until the Rye (black seed) starts to pop add the whisks ingredients and give it a quick shimmer .
