Apple salad:
chop green and red apples. Pour lemon juice over apples and allow to stand for as long as possible. Shake bowl once in a while so lemon coats all apples. Drain lemon juice. Season apples with salt, black pepper, brown sugar and mayo. Mix well. Add chopped pecans. Mix. Serve on a bed of lettuce. Serve chilled.
