INGREDIENTS
1 can chickpea drained and washed
Salt to taste
Approx ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
5 cloves fresh garlic
2 ½ tablespoon tahini paste
1 small freshly squeezed lemon
Tahini paste
½ cup sesame seeds
Olive oil as required
Add sesame seeds to a pan and roast it in medium. Heat until light brown .
Remove from pan .
Add to a food processor and grind until crushed and soft start adding olive oil to form a thick paste .
METHOD
In a food processor add the chickpeas , chipped garlic cloves , salt and 2 tablespoon olive oil , blits until the texture seems smooth , keep on adding olive oil as need to make a thick consistency, lastly add the tahini paste and mix together .
To serve
Add olive oil in a plate , using a spoon spread around drizzle olive oil and olives ( optional )
This can be eaten with any middle eastern dish , kebabs etc or even at party's with pita as a dip .
