Marinade: 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ginger garlic Masala 1 teaspoon ground dhania (coriander) and jeeru (cumin) 1 teaspoon fine red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam Masala 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 cup yoghurt 2 tablespoon tomato paste handful of ready fried onions few strands saffron (soaked in little water)
3-4 potatoes (cut in four and fried) 4 boiled eggs
dhania (coriander) for garnishing
Marinate chicken in marinade ingredients for a few hours or overnight. Heat little oil in a pot and add Elachi (cardomom) pods, cinnamon sticks, cloves, peppercorns and whole green chillies. Once it sizzles add marinated chicken and cook on low. When chicken almost done add fried potato's and a little boiling water If required. Before serving add boiled eggs and garnish with dhania (coriander). Serve with puris or roti.
