INGREDIENTS
1 kg chicken fillet cut
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon red chilli paste
1 tablespoon roberston Portuguese spice
1 tablespoon Amaans porta mariande
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt to taste
2 tablespoon peri sauce
2 tomatoes pureed
tortilla ;
2 cups flour
2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
cold milk to make soft dough
serve with :
jalapenos
salsa
sour cream
cheese
METHOD
In a pan a marinade and cook chicken in oil until done , add pureed tomatoes and cook until water burns out , shred and set aside.
Tortilla :
add all the ingredients and form a soft dough . make small balls about 6 to 7 roll out on a floured surface . place on tawa and cook both sides approx 30 seconds each sides ( must be white ) .
INFO & TIPS
you can even just used left over chicken shred and make tortillas
