INGREDIENTS
1kg readymade frozen Patta (Yam leaves (Madumbi Plant))
– filled leaves
500g puff pastry
1 egg beaten
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180C. Spray an oven tray with non- stick cooking
spray. Roll pastry out to a rectangle of 15cm width and 3mm
thickens. Place the Patta (Yam leaves (Madumbi Plant))
in the centre of pastry. Brush the edges
of the pastry with beaten egg. Roll pastry, covering the Patta (Yam leaves (Madumbi Plant))
completely and ensuring that the edges are sealed. Brush the roll
with beaten egg and cut into pieces of 1cm
Bake for 10 – 15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
