INGREDIENTS
400g roll today puff pastryFlour3 large potatoes3 tablespoon oil½ teaspoon kulunji seeds½ teaspoon mustard seeds½ teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) seeds3 curry leaves½ tablespoon green masala1 teaspoon crushed garlic½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon turmeric1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powderChopped dhania (coriander)Grated gouda cheese
METHOD
Heat oil with Jeeru (Cumin), kulunji, curry leaves and mustard seeds.
Add garlic, spices and chillies.
Add potatoes and toss well.
Cook till done, adding little water if needed.
Crush potatoes with back of spoon.
Mix in chopped dhania (coriander).
Remove plastic from pastry.
Cut into 8 even pieces.
Flour surface and roll into thin circles.
Heat tawa on med-low heat.
Place one circle on tawa.
Sprinkle cheese, spoon on potato, sprinkle more cheese and cover with another circle.
Cook pastry till done and crispy, then flip over and cook other side.
Serve hot with chutney.
