inspired by a wedding I recently attended .
1 punnet flat beans ( paapri ) with the peels .
½ cup double beans
½ cup sugar beans ( boil the sugar beans ,tuwar and double beans for 10 minutes in water )
¼ cup tuwar ( optional )
Few long drumstick ( hekta ne hinng ) cut smaller ( optional ) . I didn't find any
1 potato cut into small cubes
1 onion chopped
2 big tomatoes cut into cubes
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon ginger
Ground green chillies
2 teaspoon dhana powder
½ teaspoon haldi
1 teaspoon jeera powder
6 to 8 Patta (Yam leaves (Madumbi Plant))
in a non stick add the oil, onions and Kari leaves and in low allow for the onions to soften , add the ginger garlic and green chillies braise until you smell flavours . Add the dry spices as well as the veggies ,give it a toss let this cook . Add some water and allow to cook in low put the lid on , make sure the veggies are soft and cooked . Allow all the water to dry out .
Before serving fry the Patta (Yam leaves (Madumbi Plant))
in very little little just alittle both sides add this to the dry and cooked veggies and serve .
