INGREDIENTS
500g cubed chicken
Liquidise:2 cloves garlic1 green chillieCube gingerSqueeze of fresh lemonPinch of saffron
Step 23 tablespoon yoghurt1 teaspoon gram flour1 teaspoon dhana1 teaspoon jeera1 teaspoon chilli powder½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
METHOD
Combine step 1 & 2Marinate chicken with the mixture for more than an hour. Add roughly salt to taste to marinating
Place chicken on skewers and grill in oven for approx 20 minutes
Remove from oven and take a pan, add a block of butter & add whole spices. Peppercorns, cloves, Elachi (cardomom) & star anise1 whole green chillies slitHalf sliced onion ½ teaspoon grated gingerBraise till onions are softAdd:2 teaspoon tomato paste1 teaspoon red ginger garlic pasteChillie powder to taste½ teaspoon each of tumeric, dhana & jeeraAllow 2 cook for a few minutesAdd ¾ cup fresh creamSimmer and add a drizzle of honeyNow add the grilled chicken
Cook for about 10 minutes garnish with dhania (coriander) & serve with tandoori Naan
