Ingredients: 125g butter, ½ cup castor sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, ± 1 cup cake flour, 3 tablespoon maizena (corn flour), maizena (corn flour) for rolling fondant, Colour fondant, Water and paint brush.
1. Cream the butter and castor sugar till pale and fluffy, then add the essence. 2. Blend in flour and maizena (corn flour). 3. Roll on floured surface and cut into shapes. 4. Bake at 160 °C for 10-15 minutes. 5. Allow them to cool and harden. 6. Roll fondant out and cut shapes. 7. Wet the underneath of fondant and stick onto biscuit, if the top is dusty with maizena (corn flour) lightly brush with damp brush and leave aside to set. 8. Store in airtight container.
