1kg hake fillets
1 cup cake flour
Pinch baking powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice) + more
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
½ teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Butter as needed
1. Wash and dry hake.
2. Drizzle lemon juice over fish.
3. Mix flour with spices.
4. Dip into flour mixture and shalliw fry until golden on either side.
5. Place in oven dish, dot with butter and sprinkle Aromat (a South African Spice) over, grill before serving.
Serve with chips, mayo and salad.
