INGREDIENTS
1kg hake fillets/ hake medallions1 cup cake flourPinch baking powder1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice) + more for grilling1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs½ teaspoon white pepper1 teaspoon garlic powder1 tablespoon lemon juiceButter as needed
METHOD
1. Wash and dry hake. 2. Drizzle lemon juice over fish. 3. Mix flour with spices. 4. Dip into flour mixture and shallow fry until golden on either side.5. Place in oven dish, dot with butter and sprinkle Aromat (a South African Spice) over, grill before serving.
Serve with chips, mayo and salad.
